Dress Code

DANCE ATTIRE
Students are required to wear proper clothing and dance shoes to class, each week. Pre-K, Youth Dancers and all Ballet students are required to wear a leotard (any color or style) and tights. Older students may wear sports bra, cami tank top, booty shorts and tights.
Baggie shirts, shorts and jeans are not acceptable. Hip Hop students may wear street clothing and tennis shoes. If a student consistently wears improper clothing, they will NOT be allowed to participate in classes.

DANCE SHOES
Students are required to have proper dance shoes for class / Put your shoes in a dance bag and bring to class each week.

Policies and Procedures

 

Dance Curriculum

Pre – K Dance – the students work on tap and ballet basics in a fun environment and learn dance combinations to appropriate songs.

Youth Dance – Tap, Ballet & Jazz – beginning & intermediate dance combinations to be performed across the floor.  For beginning dancers, or those with less than 3 years experience.

Tap – learn proper tap technique and various combinations.

Intermediate Lyrical / Jazz
– learn both jazz & lyrical combinations to execute across the floor.  Focus on musicality and body movement.

Senior Lyrical – Musicality is key – body movement, emotion and extension through every combination.

Poms – focus on eye catching formations as well as level changes and hitting song accents.

Hip Hop – upbeat choreography to today’s new music.  Experience is not necessary.

Technique Training – extensive work on various leaps and turns – helps improve skill level.
